      Author Pat Welsh Speaking on Growing Great Cool-Season Veggies, the Organic Way

      The Laguna Beach chapter of the DAR and Slow Food Orange County are pleased to present well known author, and expert on Southern California year round gardening, Pat Welsh, who will be speaking on Growing Great Cool Season Veggies, the Organic Way.

      Pat is the author of Pat Welsh’s Southern California Gardening: A Month-by-Month Guide which currently is number #4 under Gardening & Landscape Design Western Region on Amazon.

      The talk will focus on gardening in the cooler seasons and will be followed by a question and answer session. After which, Pat will be selling and signing her very popular books.

      Pat is an Emmy-award winning garden-writer and author of many books including Pat Welsh’s Southern California Gardening: A Month-by-Month Guide. She’s written countless articles and columns and hosted over 500 television segments and videos. She is an Emmy-award winning garden writer. She also hosted two garden videos for Better Home and Gardens and instructed many in demonstrations on HGTV.

      Always a popular speaker this event is sure to sell out so purchase your tickets early.

      DAR is a not-for-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to preserving American History through better education and promoting patriotism.

       

      All proceeds will honor the students of Laguna Beach with American History Scholarships and Good Citizen Awards and will also benefit community garden and artisan food projects in Orange County.

       

      What are my parking options for the event?

      The parking lot at the church is small. So, please plan some time to find parking adjacent on the street or at the following lot which is a short five minute walk from Tankersley Hall.

      Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

      Yes, but you must change the registration via your EventBrite account.
