      Medical Imaging: What Is Essential Is Invisible to the Eyes

      Angel Pineda, Ph.D., will give an overview of the past, present and future of medical imaging. This will include how to image using many x-ray projections (CAT scans), using sound waves (ultrasound), using magnetic spins (MRI) and more recently using light (optical tomography). Pineda is a CSUF assistant professor of Mathematics.
