      US Coffee Championships - ORANGE COUNTY, CA 2020

      U.S. Coffee Championships is caffeine-packed 3-day event, featuring final competitions to determine who will be named the U.S Coffee Champions. This year we have a special line up.  We will be hosting the U.S. Coffee Championship events for the U.S. Barista and U.S. Brewers Cup while co-locating with the Qualifying Competitions for the Roaster, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Cup Tasters competitions.  Coffee professionals from all over the United States will compete and show off their skills as Baristas, Brewers, Roasters, Mixologists, and Tasters. The champions from the U.S. Coffee Championships Barista and Brewers Cup events here in Orange County, CA will have the honor of representing the USA at the World Championships. The CoffeeChamps Qualifying Event also features a free cafe where you can test all different types of milk alternatives in your lattes and cappuccinos.  Or just get straight to business with some delicious espresso.  Walk The Market to see all kinds of coffee related goods, or check out the Roaster Village to sample a variety of local roasters.  And so much more! Everyone from your best friend, your co-worker, and your mom are all welcome and encouraged to volunteer! Know someone that wants to get even more involved? Have them fill out the Lead Volunteer application! Volunteer signups: http://www.uscoffeechampionships.org/volunteer/ PLUS  Volunteers who work 1 or more shifts will receive a free pass to attend CoffeeChamps. WEAPONS & CONCEALED HANDGUNS: It is the policy of the Specialty Coffee Association no firearms or other weapons are ever allowed at SCA events, regardless of permits or zoning.  Please leave your weapons at home or you will be asked to leave the premises.  FAQs  Are there ID or minimum age requirements: Attendees?      All ages are welcome to attend. Competitors and Judges?   Must be 18 (21+ for Coffee in Good Spirits) or older to participate in competitions. Competitors must also hold a valid U.S. Passport or have twenty-four (24) months of documented employment or scholastic curriculum in the United States of America to participate.       Additional information may be found in ticket descriptions. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Attendees: $10, lot off of Arlington Dr. or Uber/Lyft or carpool. Competitors:  Temporary parking for Load-In day. $10, lot off of Arlington Dr.  Strongly encourage Uber/Lyft Limited venue parking and street parking for competition days.
